Hi! I’m Carla…

Two important parts of my life I would like to share with you are: my yoga and my watercolour illustrations. I nurture my life through the practice and teaching of yoga and moments of exploration with watercolour. By reading books, traveling, and studying yoga abroad, I’ve learned English and French. I live with my cat near the Mediterranean Sea.

Yoga first helped me improve my posture and strengthen my body. Over time, it became a support for my mind and emotions. That’s why I kept exploring different styles of yoga with various teachers. This has enriched my path and allowed me to better respond to the needs, goals, and requests of those who practice yoga with me in individual sessions. I am a certified yoga teacher and yoga therapist, with specialisations in yoga nidra and restorative yoga.

My journey with watercolor painting began almost as a challenge — it seemed impossible to guide the colored water across the white page. From there, a continuous exploration of watercolor colors began, along with the chance to bring my imagination to life on paper. What you see in my illustrations is simply what my imagination suggests — playful, slightly magical, joyful, and whimsical images. Sometimes I attend group projects, like 100 Days with Trees and 100 Days with Sea Horizons.

Carla is a highly personalised,very intuitive and gentle yoga teacher. I was fortunate to have one to one zoom sessions with her. I had hit the menopause and it’s impact limited my flexibility and mobility of the major joints of my body. I was very stiff and not able to get on the floor.

Carla worked with me and was able to modify poses and movements that protected my joints but at the same time gently positioning them to support more movement and enhanced flexibility.

I am grateful for the experience and her personalised care and attention which has led to me continuing on my journey for flexibility to support healthy aging.

Carla taught me to be gentle on my body which is a must and involved mastering my mental mindset to help with relaxation and reducing unnecessary stress too.
